Summary:
A Registered Nurse responsible for the daily supervision of assigned clinical support staff and care for patients while also providing guidance and leadership to other nurses as well as coordinating the education programs for patients and staff.
Responsibilities (Include but not limited to) o Supervise nursing staff and monitor their needs Supervise the intake of all patients according to Care Alliance intake procedures.
o Coordinate daily administrative duties, including schedules, nurse assignments and patient care.
o Work as a team member with other Care Alliance staff to provide primary care and appropriate referrals and follow-ups are completed in a timely fashion.
o Communicate with upper management regarding Nurse performance, staff issues and changes to treatment protocols o Record patients' medical records and monitor vital signs.
o Acts as a liaison with community agencies involved with the provision of Healthcare and assists in planning outreach and education programs o Works with the VP of nursing and Medical Director in implementing Care Plans.
o Mentor and train new staff and provide support and guidance to all staff members.
o Meet with doctors and administrators and communicate any protocol changes to staff.
o Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulationsQualifications o Registered Nurse with Ohio Licensure, BSN Preferred o Minimum of 5 years' experience practicing as an RN and 3 years of experience supervising in a clinical environment o Excellent leadership, verbal, and written communication skills o Problem solving skills and the ability to handle stress.
o Ability to train and develop staff o Proficient in the use and training of EPICPI225215852 Recommended Skills Administration Certified Nurse Practitioner Clinical Works Communication Health Care Leadership Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
