We are currently in a high period of growth and looking to add a Design Assistant to our team of top performers.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Excellent communication, organizational, and self-motivation skills.
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
Experience in QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus.
Ability to learn new computer software packages.
Ability to make correct independent decisions when appropriate, organize and prioritize multiple tasks, and problem solve.
Construction, interior design, architectural background a plus.
Upbeat and positive personality.
Capable of working independently or with a team, depending on the project.
Outstanding core values and integrity.
Desire to continuously improve and produce results.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Maintain spreadsheets, schedules, and budgets for interior design and decorating.
Assist in project administration:
request quotes, samples, create purchase orders, client proposals and invoices; place and track orders.
Open new vendor and maintain existing vendor accounts.
Work with team on sample orders and pick-up.
Update and maintain the design studio library.
Oversee materials returns and rectification of damaged products.
Prepare deposits.
Communicate with clients, suppliers, vendors, and banking contacts.
Type and file documents, keep records, produce reports, and collect data.
Complete additional projects as assigned.
