8K a year We are seeking a candidate with working knowledge of construction that is able to manage and coordinate a team of Independent Contractors and vendors.
We need a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Construction Manager to assist in planning new home construction projects and to oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Requirements:
Must be comfortable using Scheduling Software - BuilderTrend/BuildTopia experience a plus Must have at least 3 years experience in Construction Management Working knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods Competent in conflict management Excellent organizational, communication, time and project management skills Experience in residential home remodeling and additions a plus A team player with leadership skills
Responsibilities:
Review the project in-depth to plan for material deliveries, templating and estimate costs Coordinate with and direct vendors and subcontractors Meet contractual conditions of performance Review work progress on a daily basis Prepare internal reports pertaining to job status for weekly meeting Plan ahead to prevent issues and resolve any emerging ones Communicate with homeowners regarding job status Manage multiple construction sites at different levels of construction Schedule Inspections Quality control inspections at different construction phases Maintain clean ,organized jobsites.
